In The Zone? Or Totally Out Of It?

In The Zone? Or Totally Out Of It?

In The Zone? Or Totally Out Of It?

This short interview was filmed by the good people at IXLAT Films right after one of my favourite shows of the year.

Myself and Luke O’Shea had just finished playing to a full house at The Dag Sheep Station as a part of the Hats Off To Country Festival which takes place every July in Tamworth and Nundle, NSW Australia.

I was there at the Dag as a tutor for the amazing singer-songwriter retreat and the two shows I played were during that time too.

Funny, it’s been commented on that in this video, I appear to be “high”. It’s true! yet, perhaps not in the usually associated sense.

Being a tutor at the retreat was an emotional time for me in many ways, and in good ways. I felt like I was where I am supposed to be. Have you ever truly known that feeling?

During this interview I was also still buzzing from the joy of live performance. I was high, I was overjoyed and was grateful and a little overwhelmed that I was getting to enjoy such a magic day (one of many).

Are you doing what you can in life to ensure that you are “where you’re supposed to be”?

If you are a performing songwriter, are you present?

Thanks for being here and I hope you enjoy my little interview in which I’m totally out of it 🙂

Cheers!
Karl
